We’re excited to add this stunning correct blue eyed buck to our breeding program. He comes from VERY productive lines with strong LA scores, Superior Genetics and impressive show winnings. Big Sur’s Sire & Dam’s Sire, Red Hot Saracha, has a lovely up hill stance and a very level top line. He has good brisket extension, long flat rump, straight front legs and nice angulation to his rear legs. Red's Dam, Castle Rock Sarafina, is a phenomenal doe earning an LA score of 92 in 2015! In the show ring, Sarafina easily finished her Championship Title by the age of two. She is extremely dairy with a beautifully attached fore udder, lovely top line and rump. Big Sur’s DDDD, Honey Dew, won 5 Best Doe in Show awards, 11 Best of Breeds and 8 Senior Grand Champions. She has multiple Superior Genetic daughters. Her daughter Dew it Again earned an EEEE 91 at 3 years of age and her daughter Dew Ya Love Me earned a VEVE 90 at the age of four.

We’re absolutely thrilled about the 2022 buckling, Tiberius, who we retained out of Big Sur. As a 2 year old, Tiberius finished his permanent Grand Champion and was awarded Best in Show against some VERY tough competition in the 2024 Idaho Syringa Dairy Goat Show and Utah Dairy Goat Show. We are beyond proud of this boy and grateful to Big Sur for his contribution to our herd.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Big Sur’s Granddam, Gryphon ST Darlin’, is ADGA's #2 Producing doe for Volume and 5th for protein during her 2016 lactation milking almost 1500lbs. She secured her Superior Genetics and Elite Doe Designation in 2017 and at just 61 days fresh Darlin milked 7.1 pounds during her second milk test of the season. Also in 2017 Darlin' kidded sextuplets; five does and one buck.

• Big Sur’s Dam’s two-year-old First Freshening half sister milked over 1290 pounds during her 2017 lactation.

• Big Sur’s Dam, Butterfly Kiss, was one of five does in a litter of six born to her dam in 2017.

• Big Sur’s DDD, Lil’ Dance, milked 9.9% butterfat at the end of her lactation as a FF.
