Maj, is a true tribute to his breed easily earning his permanent champion as a young buck having produced Champion offspring while earning his EEE90 at 9 years old in 2022. He stands very wide between the hocks and maintained well within height limits until his passing. He is angular with a strong set of shoulders and legs and has those beautiful dairy wrinkles everywhere! His striking blue eyes are an added bonus. We’re blessed by the opportunity to get straws out of this incredible buck after his passing at the old age of 11 years. His last owner loved his sweet and friendly personality and we’re thrilled at the opportunity to continue his legacy here at our farm. Rest easy Maj!

HIGHLIGHTS

• Maj earned his permanent Grand Champion as a young buck and his EEE90 at 9 years old. One of the many reasons we chose to add this buck’s genetics to our herd was the strength, vitality and longevity he displayed at the end of his life. We want to breed goats that last just like Maj himself.

• Maj’s 2022 doeling, Twin Pears Maj’s Fashion Week earned her spot on the Elite Doe list at 98% by producing 1,238lbs of milk, 78lbs of butterfat, and 51lbs of protein in 283 days as a 2 year old second freshener. She and her dam, Marimekko, places 9th in the Dam and Daughter class at the 2023 ADGA National Show right behind Wolfivan CQ Ginger Root who went on to win the National Grand Champion Doe class in 2024. • Maj’s Dam, Wyojem Wendy Kiki earned her EEEE 91 at 8 years old as well as National Grand Champion in 2013, National Reserve Best Udder in 2012 and Top 10 milk production in 2014. Another example of excellence and longevity.
